I am excited to invite you to a special book reading event at vier.zentrale on 29th November, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, located at Leineweberstraße 15, 45468 Mülheim an der Ruhr. Entrance is free, and snacks and drinks will be offered for free.
Join me as I read excerpts from my book, “Not Now Please: Living Through Ableism, Racism, and Grief.” This book is a deeply personal account of my experiences navigating the challenges of racism, ableism, and grief. During the reading, I will share insights into how these forms of discrimination intersect and magnify, affecting not only our personal identities but also our mental and emotional well-being.
One of the central themes in the book is the resilience required to face a society that often chooses to ignore our struggles. Another powerful point is the importance of visibility and empowerment, how being proud and visible is not just an act of resistance but a necessary step toward survival and reclaiming our spaces.
I hope this event will spark meaningful discussions and encourage others to reflect on these critical issues. I look forward to seeing you there and sharing this journey together.
